I live on island filled with beautiful beaches. After a storm, these beaches are filled with kelp. I've always been a fan of beachcombing, and sand dollars are a favourite find. These mugs in red clay have a raised design and silver lustre accents. They are approximately 4 inches tall and hold about 12 - 14 oz each.
 
All mugs are hand built and hand decorated, meaning no two are ever exactly the same. I use a clear glaze over applied slips and underglazes. My glazes have been tested for food safety. Mugs with a  metallic finish are NOT microwave safe, and I encourage hand washing for longevity.
